No, our handsome groom David did not say that, American author F. Scott Fitzgerald did. However, we think Mr. Fitzgeralds’s quote suits best how David feels whenever our bride Vania is with him–all smiley and definitely in love with each other.
The couple’s journey to the wedding aisle was not an easy one, as they had to face the pandemic and postponed the plan to have the ceremony in Bali. Eventually, they decided to hold their matrimony and reception in the city closest to their hearts and families; Surabaya. Imperial Ballroom and its sophisticated Moonlight Chapel were chosen as the venues.
We were as excited as Vania as we brainstormed about the decor concept and details. Vania is a fashion business lecturer and also a creative director of her own fashion-line. This pretty much explained how she was so sharp and precise about the decoration, even to the smallest details. David, on the other hand, completely trusted his partner’s taste and sense. Vania knew what’s best for the both of them, and Sion Decor was able to bring the aesthetic ideas to reality.
As the big day finally arrived, the grandeur design of flowers and lighting was such a perfect set for this lovely couple’s intimate walk to forever. Vania’s beautiful gown by Fifi Firianty amplified her flawless beauty even more as she walked down the aisle, arms intertwined with David. The moment felt breathtaking yet intimate as they took steady step by step to the main stage.
We were beyond grateful as we witnessed how the couples exchanged vows and how the guests were delighted with the overall ambience, food, music, and of course, to celebrate the couple’s happy day together! We are proud to be a part of this, and would love to do it all over again.
