Modern Whimsical Garden – A Tale of Jonathan & Christina

Vibrantly romantic. Extravagantly intimate. Two distinct elements elaborated as one beautiful soul—and that’s on Jonathan and Christina.

If we were to describe Jonathan Wiranata and Christina Suriadjaja, the first thing that came to our head was; adventurous. They both loved nature, mentioning diving and hiking as some of their favorite activities to do. They were both strong-willed and achiever type, and we knew things were going to be exciting that day at our office.

Jonathan and Christina told us about how they wanted their wedding dream to be with such passion, sparkle, and a little sprinkle of anxiety. They wanted everything to be perfect. Long story short, we absolutely loved their definition of perfection; a modern touch of intimate ceremony with dearest family and friends, in the midst of nature.

So we made it happen at Amanjiwo, a luxury resort that overlooks the Unesco World Heritage Site of Borobudur Temple. Precisely 45 Project Art Plus professional crews and 3 wedding advisors, worked together with Flora Lines as the decorator and LXE Moments as the creative director.

The result was wonderful.
No, scratch that. Wonderful was an understatement. It was perfect. The decorator executed the vision of the creative director’s enchantingly. Every corner of Amanjiwo—the lobby, rotunda, bar, aisles, stage, to the tables—was turned into a modern whimsical garden, painted with vibrant color palettes of violet.

From the moment the guest stepped at the venue, to the wedding dinner as the main event, until their departure, the flow was seamless. Smile never left Jonathan and Christina’s lips that night. Their close family and friends were there; celebrating, laughing, and dancing along in their joyous day—how could they not be smiling from ear-to-ear?

Although we at Project Art Plus had the honor to handle countless weddings before, but we had to admit that it was uncommon to see the venue staff and vendors joined the party and danced wholeheartedly. They did, in this one. The vibe was just too lit not to dance along.

It was challenging to hold a wedding amidst the pandemic. However thanks to the cooperative family, guests, and all vendors, we were able to maintain the strict health protocols. Safety has been and will always be our priority. We are proud to say that Jonathan and Christina had one of the best weddings we had ever organized!
