In the middle of a hot-tempered city like Surabaya, discussing with Bella and Joshua for their engagement party is like having a glass full of ade. Refreshing!
They are a lively couple who like to explore new things and see things from many perspectives. Time flies fast with them since we rarely check our watch and keep talking about the best concept we should use. Rather than think of us for having a meeting, you will see us as old friends who we have not seen in a long time. Sometimes, we hesitate about coming up with a bold idea, just in case it is out of their line. But then they welcome it with bright and big smiles. Both Bella and Joshua actively contribute to making the engagement concept get better. These couples rocks! Since the first meeting, we knew their engagement would be as stunning as their personality. Now, let us spill the tea of their engagement day.
The engagement concept is Window Shopping, combining three famous brands as the inspiration; Diptyque, Dior, and Channel. Mixing the touch of modern and traditional feelings, the party is like a new fusion. Lately, people are into soft-colored themes and rarely use monochrome as the primary color of their party decoration. But Bella and Joshua pick vibrant and monochrome colors to create a pop-up effect in their whole look party. All the betrothal gifts have their own space in a black-outlined or white led display with vibrant-colored flowers. As an aesthetic touch, we use a modern tea tray, tea candle holder, bamboo dim sum basket, and crystal flower vases rather than the usual engagement tray.
Among the beautiful decorations, Bella appears cheerfully in her yellow and fuchsia modern-look gown, designed by Joshua’s mother, while completing Bella with Shanghai Cooler in gray. Without any doubt, they look gorgeous.
We are so glad to be part of their engagement day and happily accompany them till the wedding day.
