Adventure of a Lifetime

I can picture it so vividly up until this day. The arrangement of Anthony & Nathalia’s wedding was a long journey full of arrangement. To begin with, Anthony & Nathalia’s wedding was one of those that got postponed due to the 2020 situation. But I believe God’s plan is always better than ours.

I remember, 2019 was the year I met Anthony & Nathalia for the very first time. The groom, Anthony, is truly an adventurer. He cycles every day and carefully thought about planning. I can say that he’s a very logical person and believe decisions that make sense.

The bride, Nathalia, is a driven career woman. She’s productive and manages her time in a smart way. No wonder she juggles with a lot of activities, including planning her very own wedding. I was very touched that they entrust us with every option we shared and the decisions we took. So, I wouldn’t want to miss a thing as well. I took the opportunity as if I was planning my best friend’s wedding.

Flash forward to 2021, the typical 2021 wedding was relying on heavy Covid-19 protocol. Their wedding was no exception. After almost 2 years of preparations and waiting, the adventure finally began for Anthony & Nathalia. Adding an element of surprise, wedding dinners were only decided two weeks before the event took place. With very short notice.. Nevertheless, we knew, the show must’ve gone on.

The ceremonious wedding day we’ve been waiting for had finally arrived. Holy matrimony was naturally filled with a light as perfect pink and sacred white hues decorated the place. Blue sky, open air. Flowers and promises. We knew, love’s all around.

Embodied the feeling of nature, Golf Imperial Pakuwon was the idyllic place for the adventurous Anthony and driven lady like Nathalia to tie the knot. The fact that it was October, the rainy season, did not make us weary. There was, in fact, a certain tenderness, as well as great joy seeing them exchanging their wedding vows, witnessed by family and closest friends who had supported them along the way.

Despite the challenge of having uneven surfaces, we got creative in building a new aisle construction. Fortunately, that fitted and was comfortable for both of them to walk on gracefully. As the gloomy clouds gathered, without rain, we couldn’t help to think it was the universe telling us they make it even more sacred.

As for dinner, we soon rushed into planning and strategically divided our team as there were two different places for dinner. Family dinner was held in ‘Blissful’ and friends’ were in ‘Moonlight Chapel’. What has been planned out as up to 1500 invitations, were shifted into intimate dinner within a total of 60 invitations. A different plan, can you imagine? Our worry slowly disappeared as we saw smiling faces of the guests. The room was filled with many shades of flowers. Bright, cheerful and full of details to decorate the long-awaited night. It was truly a night to remember for two souls, intertwined together for the very first time to a lifetime journey.

The unexpected event turned out to be one of our success stories. God almighty’s favor. Can I add more? 100% of the Covid-19 results were negatives, it was only one day before the D-Day. We couldn’t ask for more.

As Anthony & Nathalia embarked their very own adventure of a lifetime, we embrace our very own journey of another learning. Through learning, we can always grow better. It was worth every fight.
